Most young students in Armenia cannot afford the cost of SAT test preparation. AMVN has found a way to help.

AMVN Volunteer, Fatima Alattar, recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi, UAE. She has been interested in opportunities for online teaching . After participating in an international education forum for college students hosted by AMVN, she decided to volunteer with and teach SAT Mathematics Prep classes.

The weekly Zoom classes started in June and are 40 minutes long. They have proven a valuable resource for Armenian students preparing to take the SAT exam. Fatima enjoys volunteering for AMVN because she touches the lives of young students in Armenia by sharing her knowledge with them.
