AMVN Hosts Education Forums with College Students Around the World

During these uncertain times, as the world struggles with COVID-19, AMVN staff members Hasmik Torosyan and Kristina Terian continue to look for ways to improve education in Armenia.

To this end, they decided to organize a series of international education forums to bring together college-aged students from around the world to discuss current challenges and opportunities in education.

The main goals of the forums are to give students a way to discuss educational concepts and share effective learning strategies with others.

This summer AMVN has hosted three online forums (on June 13, June 20, and July 20). Students from the USA, Armenia, France, Lebanon, Syria, Iran, and The United Arab Emirates have participated.

The forums have given participants an opportunity to learn more about the educational systems in other countries, especially in Armenia. Participants who have joined the forums have shared their knowledge and experience and some have been inspired to volunteer for AMVN.

Participants and AMVN staff are looking forward to continuing the forums and expanding their scope.
