Two Weeks of War
It has been over two weeks since the outbreak of war between Armenia and Azerbaijan. For the people of Armenia and Armenians everywhere, it has been a time of intense stress, sadness, and uncertainty. It has also been a time of great sacrifice by our soldiers, great service by the young people in Armenia, and a show of amazing solidarity from the Armenian diaspora around the world.
All of us at AMVN offer our prayers and support for our brave fighting men and women, to the families who have lost loved ones, to the mothers and wives who wait with faltering courage to hear any news from their sons and husbands.
We thank all of our volunteers for your support and acts of kindness. The classes you continue to teach bring a welcome relief to the students in Armenia – a chance to briefly escape the constant worry and fear of war. Your kind words and messages to the students offer them hope and a lifeline to the outside world.
AMVN promises to continue and build on our work. Education is the future, and we will build a brighter future together.
Peace for Armenia. Peace for Artsakh.
